upgrade to xbox one controller?

Currently using a xbox 360 wired for games that I prefer controller over mouse and keyboard. Now I'm kinda getting tired of it being wired since what i like the most about using a controller is just being able to lay back and relax and the wire gets a bit annoying, and I also am really starting to notice the aging build quality of it. So is it worth the moving to a wireless xbox one controller for the given its high price tag as a controller?

You will still have to buy the "PC" version of the Xbone controller to have the wireless functionality, so keep that in mind. The one marketed for the PC comes with the wireless USB adapter dongle, and is the only way to get it, again. I use a wired one, and I have been satisfied with it. I really like it for some games, but nothing beats a keyboard and mouse for games like Minecraft, Terraria, and RTS. I also think the new controller is a little more comfortable for extended play sessions than the 360 one, but your mileage may vary on that, since everyone has different hands.
