I overclocked my Q9550 then got a BSOD. So I reset all BIOS settings then booted up. Then, after checking CPU-Z, it doesn't detect my DIMMs anymore!

dang, are you also rocking the Q9550? or is that a secondary pc?

try turning down your overclock

the cause of all your problems in the 2 or 3 threads youve opened now is following: your FSB. if youre increasing your FSB everything else will be overclocked too. itll mess your system up if you dont know what youre doing

I already reset to default settings. Why is it still not detected?

maybe youve damaged something already, can happen relatively quick with a fsb overclock and auto voltage regulation :-/

FSB is not the same as BCLK, dont get that wrong

I used to have an E7400 on this board before. OC'ed it to 3.3 GHz at all auto and it was fine. Maybe the overclock corrupted some files in the OS (?)

possible but unlikely. but just because it went fine with your last cpu doesnt mean it did this time too, id double check everything mate.

Did you save, reset the date and time in Windows and reboot? Sometimes CPU-Z won't show a lot of things if you are constantly working on different OCs and have one fail. Usually getting back into windows stuff will show up after the first stable reset and with correct date and time.

What are my options?

try the old cpu, try with only 1 ram dimm installed. redownload cpu-z and try again. do some benchmarks to check if everything works fine. maybe its just coincidence it happened now. if everything works fine i would not be bothered by it
