So I've recently gotten very much into content creation and was looking into getting a Wacom Cintqi, but don't want to spend the $800 as im just doing this for fun and am a college engineering student. Then it hit me, could i purchase a crappy Surface 1 ~ $125 and use this a a second screen, I know i can do this. My question however is,is there software or hardware that will allow me to use the surface as a (graphics) tablet but transfer all of the processing power used in Photoshop, illustrator, ect... onto my laptop.

Thanks

I don't really understand the question, but if you are taking about Surface (not pro version), it is basically a Chromebook.

EDIT: meaning you can't download anything and super under powered

I'm assuming his laptop doesn't have touchscreen capabilities so he wants one to use as a drawing pad.

I dont want to do anything powerful, Im just curious if over a network or something i want to  utilize the screen as a copy of my laptops, while using the laptops power.

Surface tablets are not good for art at all, especially the original surface (not pro). I have had a sp 1 and its is not that good
