He said it bounced, it's possible that the connection to the PCB has been at least damaged ...

That'd be incredibly unlikely, the only force so far known to rip the die off the PCB is a delid with the IHS soldered on.

Well, it's the other side that has beed damaged then, on the pins ...

Oh I didn't see that. Then there's a very high chance that it's completely fine.

What makes you say that ?

OP, try to reset the CMOS on your motherboard (depends on the model so I can't help you on that part)
