cleaning routine/cable mangement

today i decided it was time for the 'big clean' basicly taking everything off my desk and clean all of it.

Here is how i clean my stuff and what i use for it.

cleaning the keycaps:

get a nice large bucket or something to pour hot water in + some soap and let it sit for 10+ minutes (to get rid of any oils) after that take them out and sift them, lay them out to dry printing side up.

cleaning the rig:

take off all panels you can and use a compressor/air can to get all the dust out (hold fans down to make sure they dont go banana's otherwise you might break them)

for the glossy aluminium I use Lab31 screen cleaner, it comes with a microfiber cloth wich i realy like.

now you might be asking: screencleaner? well yeah i dont know why i use it but it works realy well for glossy alluminium.

After all the cleaning is done set it all up (dont rush it, make it look pretty )

now sit down in your chair and look at what youve achieved today, be proud of yourself.

i hope i atleast helped motivate 1 person with this to get up and do something.
