You can get 16GB, then if you find yourself using almost all of it, upgrade it to 32GB.

99% of the time, 32GB of RAM is overkill.

 

16GB is enough for most tasks.

8GB is great, never exceeded that even if I put heavy workloads on my machine.

"Heavy" I run 7.4 GB Web browsing, with a few programs open.
