I'm suffering withdraw because I'm out of town and can't play it atm but does anyone else in this forum play this game? I mean come on it's amazing, anyway I am running Valkyr, Mirage, and Frost at the moment and I need tips on how to earn plat, and wich Void runs to do and what to look out for because I really need to start getting into the flow of the trading and selling in warframe since I want to start saving up plat to buy frames and potatoes

Used to play, have pretty much all Warframes at level 30.

 

Use this to look up what people are selling X item for: http://warframe.market/ and/or http://wftrading.net/warframe/

 

Then use the wiki to look up where that item drops: http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/WARFRAME_Wiki

 

Usually prime parts and rare mods are what you should go for, primarily corrupted mods and nightmare mods. The websites above for pricing is more of a guideline than a rule set. I stopped playing Warframe because they weren't bringing out content, like at all, and I min/max my games hard. So I'm like Mastery Rank 17 or 18(can't remember) before I put the game on hiatus.

 

Honestly I would go for login rewards until you get a 75% off coupon and buy the $200 Plat package for $50. I bought that and managed the plat I got from that for Warframe/weapon slots and upgrades and it lasted me a long time and I haven't put in any money since. It's a worthy investment IMO if you have the money to spare.

 

If you really just want to farm for items I would read up what the current big ticket items are(usually latest prime parts for the newest release) or the most rare mods. Like I would farm for Armored Agility and Trinity Prime parts since she's the latest prime, those should be in high demand, but they're probably hard to farm because of RNG.

 

For prime parts you could do a key share where you and three other people put in one key each for the same mission, so you get four chances with one key, but in the past people have been known to bail out on the second or third key so they don't use their own. So maybe get a group of friends and do that to be safe.

 

Trading is really just a waiting game. Some days I couldn't sell anything and other days I sold everything I had within hours of advertising. Really depends on what you farm and your prices. You can advertise while solo farming, so if someone is interested in your items you can quit out of the mission and trade and then get back to farming without inconveniencing others.

 

Best of luck, if you can't sell anything I would really go the coupon option. Even the $100 pack for $25 is pretty damn good if you can get a 75% off coupon.
