Updating the bios

So I heard you should only update it if you are experiencing problems, but I just checked and I am running a bios version prior to the one that supports 4th gen Intel CPUs which is what I am using. I am not experiencing any problems. Should I update? Thanks!

You don't update unless you have problems - which you aren't having, so no, you don't have to update.

UpdatingBIOS can brick mobo. If it fails at wrong time. Thats why its not recommended for inexperienced users. Update will improve OC stability, CPU compatibility and fix BIOS related bugs.
