I got an gigabyte r9 380, but when I put in the mobo, attach the power, and boot it up it gives no display to the monitor. I have enough power to supply it, i have a 600b evga psu. I've determinded the problem being that the bios doesn't support it. I've read on hp forum post that had the same problem as me with the exact same mobo, but they fixed it by updating their bios version.http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/Unable-to-boot-with-new-graphics-card/td-p/3930544. However the way they did it is risky because they had windows 7, but still downloaded the windows 8 bios update. I have windows 7 64bit as well. I installed MSI live update and the program doesn't give me a new update. My bios version right now is 7.07

So do you guys know how I can update my bios to the latest version, and should I follow the steps they did in the other forum post?

note: my system is a PC prebuilt, model p7-1297c

System:
