So this now happened 2 times now with different OS's and I have no idea what is causing the problem. It could be that my psu is going bad or my motherboard or my ssd is going out but what ever it is very time consuming to fix.

What happens is sometimes I turn on my pc and it "forgets" the drive letter of my boot drive making it X not C. Which over wright the master boot record. The only way I have found to fix it is to format my boot drive and reinstall windows. I have tried to do a system restore but since the restore was done on C when it changes the drive letter it still looks for the restore point on C but it is now X. And I do not think there is away of changing the drive letter of the boot drive without booting into Windows which I can not do. If you have any suggestions please comment or know about this issue.
