Trouble with Firefox

For a few days now I've been having a lot of issues with Firefox, it being very slow and unresponsive. I'm the type of person that has a lot of tabs open (which has never been an issue since i have 16gb of ram and a 4790k cpu) but lately it's been very unresponsive, for example often times just going through youtube it would freeze entirely until i get the pop up about a script not responding and asking if i want to stop it, after stopping it then it works just fine for awhile. and other sites such as facebook and even this site load pretty slow (And my internet isn't an issue cause I just did a test and it has 49ms ping, 25down and 15up speed). Another random issue i would have is once in awhile the icons and images on my browser (in the top area where there's tabs, search bar, and etc) would start spazing out where they don't show up until i move my mouse over them. also video players mess up during times when it's dont that.

 

Firefox (and the 64 bit alternative Waterfox) are the only browsers I use. I don't support chrome at all and don't want it on my pc at all.

 

Is there anyway to fix this issue? I've done the Firefox refresh thing on Mozilla's website, and it fixed the last problem i had about things spazzing out, but things loading slowly or freezing up is happening now.

I've had this problem on my work machine for a while now. Thing is, it only appears to happen on this machine specifically and it only happens after 12 o'clock noon. I don't know what the problem is. Normally if I close it and reopen it, I don't have the same problem for the rest of the day.

From what I can tell, it's probably a very specific coding issue that should (hopefully) be fixed in the next stable build. Fingers crossed.

From what I can tell, it's probably a very specific coding issue that should (hopefully) be fixed in the next stable build. Fingers crossed.

I too have had this issue a couple of times (Also specific to one machine, not any others). It only seemed to happen on the LTT forum though. But as far as I can tell, it's gone now. I'm running Firefox 43.0.4 and I haven't had these issues for a while and hopefully they are gone for good.

Windows 10 pro. Been running it since it came out and had no real issues (aside from a few issues in the first month but those were taken care of long ago).

I have the same firefox profile set on my laptop for whenever I use it, that os is Ubuntu.

I too have had this issue a couple of times (Also specific to one machine, not any others). It only seemed to happen on the LTT forum though. But as far as I can tell, it's gone now. I'm running Firefox 43.0.4 and I haven't had these issues for a while and hopefully they are gone for good.

 

I did another firefox refresh. Normally I use the sync option to reinstall all my add-ons and such from before I reset, although the other day I was having issues where the sync would uninstall my add-ons and not let me reinstall them so i ended up disconnecting the email I use for syncing.

 

This time I re-added my add-ons and other stuff manually and it seems to be working fine now, pages loading normally. Might have fixed the problem but only time will tell.

are you using the most recent verision of ff? if not uninstall your current install the newest. if that dosent work refresh it make a new profile then restart your pc

if nothing works tell me ill find a way :3
