Basically looking into purchasing a 380 from sapphire, however for a few pennies more I am able to purchase an r9 380x from Gigabyte, this being the g1 windforce 2x variant. From what I'm aware their coolers have been rather lackluster on the 200 series and they're not very good at warranty or rma things. I live in eastern europe so that might complicate things additionally. Does anyone have any experience with either the 300 series from gigabyte or overall anything to say about their customer service or the aforementioned cooler? Thanks in advance!

So stepping up and putting the X in 380 isn't worth going for over sapphire?

You risk a lot with Gigabrick. Poor OC, poor cooler, poor support

Can you by any chance get MSI one? I mean, the Gigabyte on is fine if you dont plan to OC but the chances are you can OC the Sapphire 380 to match or exceed the performance of the Gigabyte 380x. You can most likely do this with the MSI one too.

Do NOT buy Gigabyte 300 series cards. They can't really cool themselves properly, and OCing sucks cockles on the cards.

Personally I like my XFX 380, but Sapphire is the best company to buy AMD cards from. (They're like the EVGA of AMD cards)
