Hello, I have read a lot of websites and the vpns at my school are blocked. a web sights suggested a mail server. But how do I do it. Anyone got links or programs for mail server vpns or any way for me to acsess blocked web sights

have you tried tunnelbear and proxies?

 

 

never heard of a mail server VPN being use to access websites...

My school blocks it all

even more obscure proxies?

 

keep cycling through IPs until you fund one that isn't blocked

 

remember not all proxies are safe though

It's most likely that the SSH port is open. You can use a hosted linux virtual machine and PuTTy to create an SSH socks proxy which will allow you to use a lot of stuff like browsing, remote desktop, skype, etc....

how to i cycle through ips. Considering i have never used a vpn program or anything like that 

 

just download tunnelbear and cycle through countries

 

 

are you sure your school doesn't have whitelist only?

No idea what a white list is but i will try tunnel bear (:

 

whitelist only means you can ONLY go to approved websites (most likely "educational" ones)  

 

if that is the case nothing will be able to evade their firewall outside of total system compromise and firewall parameter reset

Yes they block alot of websites and i have to log into every day with my own details. but my friend had this thing called tor browser that worked for a month but then didn't work (:  We STILL HAVE HOPE

don't use tor unless you know what you're doing...

well 1. you automatically end up on like 1000 watch lists for searching about it

 

and 2. it's questionably safe right now
