Razer Blade Stealth and the Dell XPS 13.

Xeenos

Sorry I wasn't sure where to post this question as there is no Laptop thread.

I’m looking to replace my 2009 Macbook and I’m having a hard time choosing between the Razer Blade Stealth and the Dell XPS 13. I’m mainly looking for a somewhat portable laptop that will mostly be used for web browsing, streaming video and very light gaming (Hearthstone and FTL). I’m not interested in the Core at all as I have a gaming PC for heavy gaming. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

and personally, id go with the razer. its a bit cheaper and will do everything you want while looking cool, having cool lights and being very light.

With that logic, a Zenbook UX303 or UX305 is probably better than both (as much cheaper for the feature set.)

true. but they specified between the 2, saying they were choosing between those two. so i just figured they wanted one of those.

Most people just don't know the Zenbook is a thing.

I bought my sister a UX303 (5200,8GB,256GB,QHD+ touch) and I found a factory refurbished xps 13 (5300,8GB,256,QHD+ touch) and the fact that a new UX303 was 800-900 USD for the same specs while a new XPS 13 was 1499 was a huge difference (my refurbished was only 799 yay).

Even at the 999 for the stealth, the zenbook is imho the best value on the market (of the premium style ultra portable laptops)

Ty for the feedback guys and ty for informing me about the Zenbooks. I'm currently eyeing the UX303UA on Amazon for $834. It has pretty the same specs as the dell but for a way lower cost. Ty again.
