budget, what do you want to play, what other things do you intend to do with your PC outside of gaming? please provide that info and we can suggest you a GPU

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

my budget is about 300 ish ,new games

R9 390 or GTX 970.

R9 390 is slightly faster, and has double the VRAM, but if your refuse to go AMD then I guess go Nvidia. The 390 can play pretty much any game at 1080p 60 FPS, something like Star Citizen being an exception.

Probably like a EVGA Geforce GTX 970, it's about $320 off Newegg.
