Amazon Basic Tripod

I can't see anything particularly wrong with that bipod, so long as your camera isn't too heavy (supports up to 3kg) and will mount properly. RE the gopro mounting question, it depends, do you need to put a gopro on it? If so then yes, you should probably buy one that can mount a gopro, but if not then don't bother.

I want to buy a tripod for my YouTube channel and I have seen the Amazon Basic Tripod which is £17.99

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B005KP473Q?colid=16OS7NKMSMSC3&coliid=I1JPPX36X2SHPQ&psc=1&ref_=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl

My question is should I spend the little extra to get the one with the GoPro mounts?  http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B005KP473Q?colid=16OS7NKMSMSC3&coliid=I1JPPX36X2SHPQ&psc=1&ref_=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl

Also I need a phone mount as for now I would be using my phone I would prefer if it can fit big phones such as the Note series. My budget for this is around £5(can go up to 10)

I also need a microphone and my budget is less than £40 I would prefer if it was a clip on or sits on a desk.

Thanks, do you know of any microphones under £40 desk or clip on?

I'm not an audio guy really, sorry :/. Hopefully someone else can help you out on that front (maybe try posting on the audio sub-forum http://linustechtips.com/main/forum/40-audio/)

That Amazon basic tripod is good enough for something the size of a GoPro, a phone or any lightweight camera.  I wouldn't mount any of my heavier camera and lenses.  I would also consider that tripod to be disposable.

By the way, as part of the GoPro kit, there should be something like this (see image below) that is either included or can be purchased separately.  a tripod head's quick release plate can screw onto that accessory and the GoPro can be mounted on a tripod.

You can get the Audio Technica ATR3350IS http://www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica-ATR3350IS-Lavalier-Microphone-Smartphones/dp/B00HZA6EJO/ref=sr_1_19?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1454043882&sr=1-19

PC is Intel Core i5 6400, GIgabyte H170 Gaming 3, Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x4GB 2400Mhz ,Sandisk Ultra Plus 128GB, WD Blue 1TB, NZXT S340, ASUS Geforce GTX 960. Fractal Design Tesla R2 650W. http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/793XNG. Graphics card choices don't always have to be dictated on performance. If you want the game stream and power consumption of the GTX 970 get that. If you want raw performance of the R9 390 get that. In the end we are all gamers, so what if your buddy gets an extra 5 fps?

Correct me if I'm wrong but I couldn't see where you said what camera you will be using?

I use to have this tripod when I had a canon 1100d and it was stable enough for me to get some nice night time shots with long exposures outside sometimes in the wind, so should be ok if you have a light camera.

If you don't mind spending a little more I would recommend this

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Manfrotto-MKCOMPACTLT-BK-Compact-Light-tripod/dp/B00K0P022Q/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1454254747&sr=1-2&keywords=manfrotto+tripod

It will be a lot more solid and will be of a better build quality.

Regards
Aaron
