My pc's cpu recently died, so I replaced my motherboard and cpu with an old pre build acer aspire's cpu and motherboard. Now every time I try start my pc I get the launch startup repair screen (As Seen attached). When I press enter on "launch startup repair" option it loads for 3 seconds then sends me back to the same screen. If I press the "start windows normally" option it restarts my pc and takes me back to the screen. I've researched everywhere and can not find any help. Please HELP if you can

Use a bootable USB of the windows ISO and try using the startup repair on there, if it still fails you most likely have an repairable issue so a reinstall will be needed. However all your data should be intact if it's just the startup issue, so connecting it to another system will allow you to grab any important data on it.

Linus did a guide here, instead of going directly into installing Windows though there is an option to do startup repair:

It would be a secondary drive in another system if you are trying to grab the data off it, so keep the original OS drive for that system in place to boot off of.

I only had 1 drive in the system.

You would take that drive as said with the boot issue and plug it into another PC as a secondary drive, from there you should be able to grab the data off of it.

If it was just a startup error or possible the startup files got corrupted and couldn't be repaired your data should still all be there in your documents, desktop folders and etc. so you can transfer that to either to the HDD of your extra system or to an external drive for safe keeping since you will need to reinstall windows on the drive. Once you get all your important data and put back into the system you can reinstall windows at that point, just make sure you have all your important data since it will wipe the drive.

Yes using a bootable ISO is going to be the quick and easiest way of doing that. If you haven't tried yet though make a bootable ISO and see if the startup repair on that works since the repair sequence that is on your windows recovery could be corrupt being the reason why it just reboots to that screen.
