there are 2 hidden accounts on windows: administrator and guest. try and activate the administrator and then edit it :3 https://www.google.co.uk/search?client=ubuntu&channel=fs&q=how+to+activate+administrator+account+on+windows+10&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&gfe_rd=cr&ei=zGKdVvOmFs7N7Abv3pPoAg

This is not helpful at all, and you're completely wrong to recommend downgrading their OS without any justification why.

As for the issue, your account has to be part of the Administrators group to edit anything in the Windows folder.

If they are existing DLL's you're trying to edit, you may have to boot into safemode to be able to modify these. (Windows doesnt like you touching system dll's)

The windows directory is a protected system directory. This is why you can't make the changes your wanting to. Copy the dll to your desktop, make changes, save to desktop then take edit the permissions on the system 32 folder to grant yourself write permissions, and copy the file over the top (You may need to change the owner of the folder to make these changes, you need to click advanced on the permissions page to change that). UAC will say are you sure, click yes and you are good to go.

On another note, when the error pops up next time, click the error window and press control+c to copy the entire error and post it here. You don't want to touch the sys32 folder unless you know what you are doing and it sounds like there is going to be a much safer way to do this stuff.
