CPU Choice

I am having a hard time deciding between these 3 processors:

 

1. i3-6100

 

2. i5-4460

 

3. FX-8320E

 

The i3 will drop costs significantly so I am kind of torn.

 

I will be mostly gaming but I would also like to record some gameplay. And feedback is appreciated!

i5 4460 is the best, quad core and good single core performance.

AMD is cheaper than Intel and offers more cores for multitasking but Intels cores are much better but offer less multitasking

 

I would recommend a AMD 8350

If you're going to be using the build I made in the other thread, you'd have to change the motherboard and RAM for each CPU.

For gaming most i3's even pull ahead of FX series. (Look at the link in my signature to a good post someone made)

i5 4460 will best best for gaming, and it offers a better upgrade path.

AMD socket is dead, unless they release zen on am3+, which i highly doubt. very highly.

yea thats why i was leaning towards intel
