Does Windows 10 reset keep my games?

Alim

Does Windows 10 reset remove games installed in C:\Games and other files (Work related)? I have backups or can download again, just want to know in advance.

Windows says it will remove apps, but keep my personal files.

I know System restore may remove some files in drive root

It will wipe your C drives. So all the games and software installed on it will be gone. As for the personal files, they are saved on the D drive and whatever other non-OS drive, so they will not be wiped. So yes, Windows removes the games, so you will have to reinstall them.

Yes, It does remove games. It removes all applications and you'll have to reinstall them.

Are sure you are talking about windows reset (refresh), not reinstall from usb? I know it removes apps, but doesn't it apply only to apps installed in Program Files? Also it keeps personal files, but I don't know is that all my files or just my documents, my pictures, etc

Just did windows reset (Reset This PC) acts like installing Windows over existing installiation. It doesn't wipe drives, all data on C and D is still here, including games installed in non default location. Probably best way to fix windows issues.

Ahhh. Resetting the PC doewnt do anything. Reinstalling windows results in the programs getting wiped
