vb.net coding

Go to solution Solved by Sir Asvald,

So you have a form with some controls on it... great my 4 year old can do that. What do you expect us to do for you exactly?

I need a website or anything for the coding of the buttons.

Found a video.

Hello guys and girls.

I'm in need of some help regarding vb.net. I've created a simple Task Manager, that helps me to manage tasks I've done the visual part of it.

The coding is the challenging part, I've looked everywhere and I can't seem to find anything that can help me.

Thanks

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place.

It would help if you could have provided a little more detail on what you were wanting to accomplish which is why I think there were irate replies. The term Task Manager something a lot different on Windows & it wasn't clear what topics you'd been researching.

From the icon you're using & form design - it looks like you're using Visual Studio & a Winforms application, so as some initial, starting advice, you could try thinking about where you'd like your calendar & task data stored/saved to. When you install Visual Studio, I think from memroy one of the components you can install with it is the Microsoft SQL Server basic/free edition. So try taking a look at "SQL Server Management Studio" and search online for tutorials on creating databases & tables for the 1st time. As a second, next step, try searching for "VB.Net ADO.Net tutorials" which will show you how to hook your form up to read or save to your database.

As and when you've got more questions, just throw them in a new post but please try to be more specific on what you've tried, what areas you're dealing with, the tables you're reading and pasting parts of your code where possible too. Good luck starting out!
