I don't think this changes the law, but pulling off a fake Microsoft certified label is a pretty good prank, so maybe they're asking for it?

Weird about it being illegal. Radio stations do it (usually involving a friend or significant other in the prank). When I worked at target people used to prank call the store asking for ridiculous items and the girls answering the phones usually did a pretty good job of replying with witty comments.

So, even if it's illegal to initiate a prank call, is it legal to prank and troll them if you're on the receiving end of one of their calls? Those people call my family from time to time, and I have a personal vendetta against them since some scammed my grandpa out of $100.

radio stations do it here every hour and i have to change the radio station bc its so much bleeping and my parents will think its bad.

I wonder when they are recording the prank calls then since bleeping it live (well as close to live as they ever get) would be hard and expensive.
