Are all of these parts compatible? Is this CPU affected by the skylake bug? Could I get any better ones for the price?

1) Check on PCPartPicker for compatibility

2) Skylake bug is only present under certian circumstances, like doing heavy stuff such as Prime95 for a longer period of time

Athlon X2 for only 27.31$   Best part lists at different price points   Windows 1.01 running natively on an Eee PC

It is compatible.

Two things I would improve though:

1. This might just be you mistyping, but get an i5 6600k instead of a 6600.

2. R9 390 gives you better performance and more vram at the same price as the GTX 970. I recommend MSI's r9 390.
