Quiet CPU Heatsinks

Hey everyone; just had a quick question:

I'm looking for the quietest CPU heat-sink that'll fit on a board with fairly high profile RAM (corsair vengance). What has everyone tried?

I have a 3570K that's not overclocked by very much, so i'm just looking for something that'll be quieter and better performing than the loud stock fan.

Thanks!

I think most of the good performing air coolers are often very big like the Noctua NH-D14. I heard that the ThermalRight Archon is a good cooler and can fit high profile ram. Found this image at overclock.net: http://img715.imageshack.us/img715/971/archon0002.jpg

My friend has the the older version of this cooler and it was really quiet with the fans turned all the way down. It had little knobs to manually adjust the fan speeds. I believe its compatibility with fairly high profile ram is pretty good.

I have had experience with this one and it seemed to be pretty damn quiet but I really couldn't tell because the kid I knew with it had it inside a case with some really fast spinning 120mm fans that overshadowed it. Plus the cooler master is cheap for its performance.

Maybe something like this? I think it does cover the first ram slot though => http://www.bequiet.com/en/cpucooler/235

Or as some people have already suggested, basically anything with Noctua fans on it will be pretty quiet and very efficient at the same time.

The Phanteks PH-TC14PE is Probably the best your going to get for Air cooling, its a few Degrees cooler than the NH-D14 and Phanteks fans are also Pretty quiet.
