best vlogging camera

Go to solution Solved by bob345,

You might want to take a look at something like the Panasonic g7. It does 1080 60p as well as 4k 30p if you want. It also has an external mic input. In terms of low light performance, it wont be as good as most larger sensor cameras, but it will out perform canons rebel series cameras when it comes to low light performance.

Hello everyone,

I want to upgrade my vlogging camera to something that actually fits my needs, I was searching for a while n,ow but I couldn't find a camera which has all the features.

I want a camera which is able to record in 1080p/60fps, with good low light performance, I also need a microphone input. That's about it really, I looked at the canon 70D (lacks the 60fps) and the g7x (lacks the microphone jack) I also need a flipout screen, preferably o that flips out to the side (tip microphone would obscure it...)

EDIT: A horseshoe mount is also needed (alreay have a micropone for that)

What camera's would you recommend?

thanks in advance!

-Gijs

Get a camcorder.  It has a nice mic built in, flip screen, and tends to already come with lights.

The Canon T3i is the BEST budget camera for every use, give me a minute and I'll find something that does 1080p 60fps. However if you're good with 1080p 30fps than you can not get anything better than the T3i.
