Linux ACPI startup error

Hey forum!

So, let me get straight to the problem. When i load up a linux based OS the loading screen spits out ACPI errors left and right and when i disable ACPI my screen is forced into a 4:3 aspect ratio with a resolution of 640x480 (or something similar, i forgot  :D) which makes whatever distro i'm using at the moment a hassle to work with. I also don't have full kernel logs to work with since i am using live usb's.
So what do i do?

Your suggestions are appreciated

I have three questions to ask. Firstly, what distribution are you using? Secondly, do you have an nvidia graphics card? Thirdly, is this a fresh install?

EDIT

I do not have a nvidea graphics card

Try a new distribution like Ubuntu 15.10, the latest Fedora version or OpenSUSE Leap and see what happens.

Will do!
