My System wont post.

So I built my computer yesterday, and I built it out of the case, and so I then decided to at least start looking in the bios, I installed everything and ran power to it, I then short the power pins and then the fans start up, and a few LED's on the system light up, but it wont output anything to the display that I have connected to my graphics card, here is my build

Yes. (its actually my TV at the moment through HDMI, and its on the right input, The tv will show that there is a signal from the card, but there is nothing actually on it, it claims "no signal"

I've had a sort of problem like that before. try another tv or borrow someone's monitor, see what happens.

like the graphics card won't output to a TV? because I know its not the TV or the cable because the exact same setup works with the HDMI out of my laptop.
