CM quickfire questions

Hi,

 

I needed to ask some questions prior to buying a budget mechanical keyboard, I have settled on either the CM Quickfire TK or the Rapid-I. Im stuck between the two. There both greatcompact keyboards, no doubt, tbut he Rapid-I, from what I can gather, has a better build quality (soft rubber) and 'activelighting' (which I find cool), though here its £5 more (regardless of switch) than the TK which has more keyboard to it (since it technically isnt tenkeyless), AND the TK comes in Blues and Browns and not just Browns like the rapid-i

 

I was just looking for a second opinion is all.

The TK i had didn't even work until windows loaded, which made dual booting or even just getting into the bios impossible with it. While the quick fire rapid did work before windows loaded.

Do you need the extra keys of the tk or do you want blue switches? If the answer to both is no, then I say rapid I.

I rarely/never use the num pad, not sure about the blues though. Out of interest which do you use?

I had the rapid (non I) with Browns, which I replaced with a k70 with reds which I replaced (kind of) with a ducky shine mini (with clears). I found Browns a bit too light and I like the k70s keycaps a bit better but I dislike the k70s num pad. (My ducky is by far my favorite of the three).
