Earbuds being really weird

A sounds that are usually loud are quiet and vice versa for example in a movie I can barly hear the characters voices but I can hear the background noise really loudly I know its the earbuds because I have tried with my iPad laptop etc.

sounds like the ground isn't getting a connection, could be the jack not connecting properly or the ground wire is broken somewhere in the cable.

Will work for electronic components and parts
