background changes sizes

when my middle monitor is not set as the main display the back ground shrinks i can't place icons at the very bottom of the screen post-145061-0-43903800-1452629683_thumb.

 

If I change the middle display to main it looks good and but icon lower post-145061-0-53826100-1452629689_thumb..

I've tried messing with the dpi and other display settings. the system is a dell optilex 990 the screen res is from left to right 1680*1050, 1920*1200, and 1680*1050. the two 1680's are hooked up to a AMD radeon hd 6350 (OEM) via dvi the 1920 display is using a the Intel graphics via display port
