Whenever I try to boot any of my Virtual Machines in VirtualBox I get a error saying

VT-x is disabled in the BIOS for both all CPU modes (VERR_VMX_MSR_ALL_VMX_DISABLED).

Result Code:

E_FAIL (0x80004005)

Component:

ConsoleWrap

Interface:

IConsole {872da645-4a9b-1727-bee2-5585105b9eed}

But when I go to BIOS to enable VT-x I can only find a line saying its supported, but no way to enable or disable it. My guess is that the Motherboard cant support VT-x if that's even possible.

System Information:

CPU: i7 6700 "Skylake"

MOTHERBOARD: B150M-A D3

SOFTWARE: Oracle VM Box 5.0.4

Wow this was old as heck, Need to update this signature!

No idea if it'll work but download the latest VirtualBox which I think is 5.0.12 and see if you get the same messages otherwise it may be your board although I'm playing around with VM's but very inexperienced with them. Damn RAM hogs lol

Ill see if that helps... and yes they take a ton of RAM off you. That's why I have a overkill of 16gbs of RAM in my system :P

No worries, could be the board not allowing you to enable the option or something. Need to learn more about VM's I think lol
