Is there a cheaper version of the ModMic 4.0 that is good quality and has a mute button, all i have found so far are ones without a mute, i will be connecting it to this http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004SP0WAQ?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE along with the Takstar hi2050's for gaming/music on PC and PS4

If you want a good quality mic with noise canceling, mute switch, and not voice quality- just get the ModMic! I think the 3.0 has a mute switch.

I would recommend going to YouTube for reviews on mics if nobody helps you here. I'll probably look later, but still. I'm not sure about an attachable mic, but I'm sure there's desk mics out there that'll do the job.

I found the V-Moda BoomPro BUT the headphones need to have a detachable cable which the Takstar hi2050's don't have unfortunately

You could mod them to have a detachable cable.
