CPU For DayZ / Arma 2/3

Ok,so Ive heard the Arma games are better with Intel CPU's because of the single threaded performance,is this true?

I got a 4670k + 770 and still can't max it out.. It's just how badly it's made. It doesn't really matter whether you get AMD or Intel. They're both good even though I sort of regret spending this much money on this PC. I'd say get a 8350 + 7970 or wait for the 9xxx series.

It's still being optimized, many other games that have already been fully released (including triple A titles) run much better.

I've got an FX-8320 and Radeon HD 7870 and it destroys arma 2/Day Z. I haven't played Arma 3 yet.

Just go for an 8350. It's great all around.
