To love is to risk not being loved in return. To hope is to risk pain. To try is to risk failure, but risk must be taken because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing.

As far as I heard Corsair mentioned that the K70 with Cherry MX Blues and Browns will initially come to the silver with blue LEDs model on it's release date. I would imagine that they will release them in the black metal with red LEDs soon after because of the high demand (or at least I assume so).

Corsair makes us wait AGAIN?

MX Blue and Brown keyswitches will ONLY be on Gunmetal grey with Blue LEDs. The other colour/LED variants won't have them, so far. Whether Corsair decides to add them later on is a different question.

Also, Gunmetal grey is a lot closer to black in person than it is in pictures.

Is their any marketing involved? Some say it always is all about it. Why keep away the switches and not manafacture them in our fav color, black and red... is their something about bussiness and encomny demand I am missing other then how to SPELL it?

Supply and demand. People have different tastes, so actual demand for particular combinations aren't that high. Manufacturing fewer quantities to supply that demand makes the product more expensive to make reasonable profit.

If they were to offer all possible combinations:

- 3 colours (black, gunmetal, silver)

- 3 switches (blue, brown, red)

- 2 LEDs (blue and red)

That's 18 possible SKUs. Each one isn't guaranteed to sell a certain amount, and they'd need a minimum quantity to keep manufacturing cost low. What if they don't sell that minimum quantity? It becomes a storage problem then. The alternative is to produce fewer of each SKU, driving up the price to $150+, which people seem to be willing to pay (considering that's the price of a Ducky Shine).

Corsair doesn't seem to want to take that chance.

Their making each config one at a time and seeing how the maketing goes and move on depending on the sale and demand at that point. Smart and usual in the business.
