I was planning of purchasing three monitors, one of which is a 21:9 1080p monitor and two are 16:9 1080p monitors. I understand that most nvidia surround setups use identical resolutions whereas this is different. Would this still work? I believe it would as from what I know, only the vertical resolution matters for landscape surround setups.

Additional information before anyone comments:

I have made sure that the vertical height of the monitors (16:9, 21:9, 16:9) match up.

I dunno about mixing resolutions but I can tell you this is going to be ABSURDLY wide even 3 24" 16:9 displays is frankly...pointless since you cant see over half of the side monitors with any detail when gaming.

Is this going to be used for gaming? cause you are going to have other issues like no support for that resolution the the fisheye effect is going to be absurd

System Specs

I understand that this is going to be wide, that is the entire point, my question is not whether games will artifact etc etc and is instead simply whether this is possible. Thanks anyway <3

Well as I said the fisheye effect you are going to be getting is going to be extreme. On my setup its already frankly...enough I would rather a single 21:9 setup

Example here though not the greatest pic since it wasnt ment to show how bad the fisheye can get.

This is an application specific scenario, and once again I do not care about the quality and I have done my homework, I just cannot find any information on whether it would actually WORK.
