Which is better ? A AMD Phenom II x 4 or a i5 760?

well the i5-760 is on a dead socket but the phenom can run in am3+ mobos giving you an upgrade to the awesome fx 83x0 lineup. That is if you need that much power and you're planning on upgrading later

They are about the same but I think the phenom is cheaper so get the Phenom

Phenom for sure factoring cost and using more updated Motherboard which was already mentioned.
