Title says it all; I've been running a CAM overlay to monitor my temps and FPS during gameplay, and while I can't complain about either of those things (48C and 50+ FPS baby!), I notice that my GPU percentage is always 95% or higher, no matter what I'm doing, while the CPU hovers around 30% with spikes during certain action scenes. Is it normal for GTA V to use that much of my GPU? I feel like it's stressed as hell and that I'm pushing my graphics card, yet it's running at stock without any modifications from me. Thoughts?

GPU: EVGA 980Ti Hybrid

CPU: i7 4790k (Stock)

RAM: 16GB Crucial Ballistic

EDIT: Got a 144Hz monitor (G-sync) if that makes any difference whatsoever

GPUs when running games should always be using that much IMO  as it gives you the most performance and it uses all of your gpu. It is fine and it won't wreck your gpu. They are meant to be running that fast and all.

Yeah as the GPU will try and make as many frames as it can per second and GTA is quite demanding.
I turn Vsync on to my monitors refresh rate so the GPU only makes what is needed so it wont push as hard which also lets it run a bit cooler. More noticeable in some games then others.
