Whats your build?

If  you have integrated graphics you can try booting from them instead.

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

CPU:AMD FX 6300

GPU:GTX 960 4GB

MB:MSI 960A-G43

8GB RAM

120GB SSD

1TB HDD

750W PSU

No integrated graphics or I would know what to do.

Amd fx CPUs don't have integrated graphics, but the motherboards do, so you can boot from the integrated graphics.

You may need to bios update your motherboard before using the fx 6300 with it because the motherboard was released quite a bit before the fx 6300 and so may not support it without a bios update.

Are you able to get anything? Bios? Beeps? Lights? Boot Codes on mobo? (may not apply but just asking).

It is possible you don't have your CPU seated correctly or the chip/mobo is bad. (Rare but it does happen)

Can you confirm your GPU works? (Try in different PC?)

The only thing we have to fear is... Stupidity...

I tried a working gpu and nothing still. I reseated the cpu 2 times just to be sure. I get fans, led's (front panel stooped working but whatever), everything. The only thing I don't get is something on my display.

Just because you have lights and fans does not necessarily mean that you have an operational board or CPU. If you have the ability, test the CPU in another mobo, and/or test another CPU in your mobo. Its rare but it does happen when you buy new parts they are DOA.

I have no extra parts for that socket. I have no other AM3+ CPU or MB.

I don't know what else to say. According to my experience the next things to check are the CPU and Mobo. Do you have a friend who has the needed parts? or a local shop who might make a deal with you? Otherwise id open up a RMA with AMD or MSI. Good Luck!
