Foam board

Im going to clean up the inside of my case and mod a side panel to a clear acrylic i was wondering is it dangerous to use foam board inside of a pc im using it to cover up all bqckplate to makw cable holes smaler/create new ones and to cover the psu like a basement is this dangerous i was going to use acrylic but foam board is cheaper and easy

Foam board wouldn't be an issue inside of a case the temps wouldn't be able to get hot enough to cause it to melt or anything. However it is fairly insulating so I wouldn't do a back plate like on a GPU or something a PSU shroud or midplate however is good with that.
