i have currently installed windows 7 on a 120 gig ssd. i want to raid 2 ssds in raid 0 and use them as a boot drive.
Will i have to move all data to a backupp disk and stripe the disk and then reinstall windows or can i in some way stripe the disk without a need for a reinstall?

You will need to reinstall Windows completely and also change SATA mode to RAID in the BIOS. Bear in mind that RAID 0 is not the safest solution without a proper backup because if one drive fails, all data is corrupt.
