Please help! Computer randomly crashing with no error codes!

Hey all,

My new rig is having problems. In the middle of playing DotA, my computer goes into a cycle of turning off, then turning on, and once i boot up dota again, it automatically does the same thing. It does not happen when I am not playing games, so I figured it was a problem with psu and too much load for it. So I tested that, and ran a stress test but nothing happened. Now I am trying to replicate what happened (it happened about 20 times yesterday) to see if I can isolate the problem. It might be my psu, but I am on battlefront right now max settings and it is working fine. If any of you have an Idea of what it is, please let me know. Also, just to note (it is most likely insignificant) my power supply has bad coil whine.

Please Help!

Thank you

Edit: After on 2nd game of battlefront, same thing happened. I am going to be purchasing a new psu, and it should solve the problem.

Maybe its the psu. It's not the best.

Yeah i figured that.

When it completely just turns off with now code it must be the psu.

Never skimp on the PSU, its powering all your precious hardware. I'm using the Antec HCG 750 in mine as it's been awarded as one of the ones with the most stable 12v rails on the market. And since I'm running my computer off of a large inverter at all times, smoothening that dirty power is essential.
