Hi am going to setup a new network

i have looked at ubiquitis new uap ac pro, and the rest of their ecosystem but dont know if its the right choise

its on a $1500 budget including about 3-4 accesspoints a router and probobly a switch

btw i have 100/100 Mb/s in to the house and want somewhat fast wireless conection to my nas so it needs to be a good AP

my house has thick stone walls so i need a couple of APs therefore i want proffesional gear that can some what semlesly roam between APs

The Ubiquiti AP AC Pros will work great for you, but may be overkill since you are getting multiples of them to cover smaller individual areas. The AP AC Lites will probably also be fine. For a router, I like the Edgerouter X. For a switch, any gigabit POE switch will be fine. Ubiquiti has their tough switches, but they are kinda pricey. Look at ones from Trendnet or Netgear.

Thanks

Are there any significant differace between Edgerouter x and light and what ar the pros and cons between thease two

I'm gonna have to disagree with you on that. You'll have a hard time finding a managed POE switch from ANY company for the $299 for the 16 port or $399 for the 24 port price that Ubiquity sells them for. Even if you do, the POE on the will be at/af which is no compatible with the UAP AC LITE, only the PRO, so you'd still be stuck with the injectors. The AC LITE uses 24v passive POE, which those switches support.

Also the fact that the management of the switch would intergrate with the management of the router and the access points is worth the small added cost.
