Resolution limit on second screen (Windows 10)

Go to solution Solved by DonkeyChainsaw,

Do you have the second screen connected to the GTX 760 or into the motherboard runing out of iGPU?

No, but i just did a hard resot, which just finished and now it works. For some strange reason. Sorry for disturbing you.

Hi everyone,

Since i upgraded to Windows 10 my screen resolution of the second screen is limited to 1280x1024, but the resoltion that it should have is 1440x900 (19'') The first screen has a resolution of 1920x1080 (27'').

I tried: Updating the screen adapter, reconnecting the screen and updating the gpu drivers. Nothing works. I have a feeling that i miss something small, but i can't find this problem anywhere else on the internet.

Specs (If it's useful)

Intel i5 4460 3,2 Ghz
NVidia Geforce GTX 760 1,5 GB (OEM) 1xDVI, 1xVGA, 1xHDMI
8 GB RAM DDR3 2x4 1600Mhz
ms-7848 motherboard

1 TB hard drive 7200RPM

monitor 1: Samsung S27D390 27'' 1920x180 connected trough HDMI

monitor 2: LG Flatron W1934S 19'' 1440x900 (displays 1280x1024) connected trough VGA

I hope someone on this forum knows a solution.
