Hey guys... it´s winter in germany, it´s wet, it´s cold, it sucks...

I want to ride my bike again, Triumph Daytona 675:

When i got it, back in 2009:

What it looks now

Things that i did:

Headlight color conversion, LED-Blinkers, nice levers, rim stripes, powder coated footrests, Arrow exhaust, some carbon parts, custom license plate holder...

Nothing over the top, but that´s the way i like it... decent changes that make it look better.

My bike that ran great for 1200km´s (about 800 Miles)

Suzuki Dr 350:

Looked crappy, but it was fun...

Did a complete rebuilt of the enginge with tune up:

Bigger bore, higher compression CP-Piston, bigger carburator, racing air cleaner, racing header+exhaust, cylinder head a little bit optimized, stage one cams... it ran good, until a valve just broke out of nowhere and completely killed the engine :(

Cylinder head, and yes... that valve was stuck in there when i took it apart...

Piston:

I need a dual sport again in the future... that thing was fun

What do you guys ride?

What do you want to ride?

Where do you like to ride?

How do you like to ride? (with my daytona, i just like to go out there on the twistys, and let it rip for some hours... gets my head straight. With the DR it was just pure fun to cruise through the city or on dirt roads)

Do you like to work on your bikes?

Changes that you made to your bike, for looks or performance?

Would you like to ride more? I certainly would... but stupid work has eaten up almost all the time i got last year, or the weather was just plain bad... only got through one set of tires...

Let´s get this thing going until the weather is good enough to get out there again.

I started out on a 1981 Kawasaki KZ440 that I bought from a guy for $300. I've always ridden dirt bikes since I was able to ride a regular bike and my Dad was always really big into motorcycles as I was growing up so he was very supportive of me getting my licence and buying a motorcycle. Since I have move onto a 1984 Honda Nighthawk 700s. As soon as I saw this bike I fell in love with it. My Dad and I spent forever looking for one in good condition and luckily found one not too far away.

I don't think I'll ever be able to find a bike I like more than this one

Sometimes later ist better... i got my motorcycle license at age 28... i´m guessing if i got it some years earlier, i would´ve most likely had killed myself...

Supermoto/dirtbike would be my weapon of choice for the 250-350 CC class. Lightweight, easy to handle, good torque and lots of fun...

I have that exact same feeling with my daytona.

Your bike looks like it is really in good condition, that is so hard to find...

For an '84 the paint looks really good. I just bought new tires as well which are going to be put on later this winter and I'm also gonna have the carbs cleaned out professionally. Normally my Dad and I can handle cleaning the carbs but since this bike is 4 cylinders it has 4 carbs so it's a bit too much for us.
