Good build but do u really need 32gb ram

The 32 GB was just a stand in for the ram I already have. I got a hand me down system that was partially built. It had 24 GB in it when I got it. Also, just to clarify the system I'm talking about here is this one:

I'm gonna upgrade eventually, but until then I want to get as much as possible out of my current CPU, its an I7- 920. I was curious to see if any one knows how good it is for overclocking.

You can have an amazing system for about 100, just get a new cpu.... get an X5675. There is no point in upgrading to anything else really if you already have a LGA 1366 motherboard. Performance comparable to a stock 5820k for $100.

You could run two 980TI in SLI on there and be ok. Really no point in buying a new system.

Current Motherboard doesn't support SLI. Also, I just want whole new system.

Do you need SLI? Suite yourself but unless you upgrade to a 5960X you'll be getting little more than a sidegrade and slightly better single core performance (in the case of Skylake).

Here is video I made for an i7 960, a 920 should be basically the same. I just worked off nightshift when I made this video so I misstate info a couple of times but there is a lot of good info for you to learn some about the BIOS on these old boards.

Exactly... and in comparison here is a 4790k at 4.7 OC..... so my point is... the dude would be wasting his money.

$100 bucks on a used Xeon is the way to go in my humble opinion, spend the rest of the cash on the best GPU you can buy and a good AIO you could carry on to your next build in 2-3 years.

I would say keep the PSU, but I had one of those and returned it instantly because of how loud it was. The new build you made is flawless.
