I have a 126Gb SSD which my operating system is on and a 1TB harddrive which the majority of my games/ programs are installed on however it is getting quite full and im wishing to upgrade. I was thinking of upgrading to a approximately 3TB HDD. Im wondering what would be the best option for this HDD?

I also have an addition HDD for video, movies etc, therefore would rather replace the drive than simply add another.

Additionally Im wondering if there is a way to simply transfer what is on the original HDD to the upgraded one without having to re-install all my programs/games?

Thanks :)

Also, put your programs on your ssd, not your hdd.

On top of that I usually like to start from a fresh install of windows, Maybe back up your steam library to an external drive or something along those lines, then you can simply copy your games onto your new PC from there :) That's personal preference though :)

he doesn't have the OS installed on the HDD.

Yeah I have as many as possible installed on it.

How many programs can you possibly have?

A bunch of autodesk and adobe programs on my 120GB and I still have 30GB left.

Are you sure you routed your documents/pictures/videos/downloads/etc. locations to your hdd?

why do you need to transfer files from the 1TB HDD?

Honestly I'm not really sure, I have League of legends installed on it as well as my OS and its basically full.

My downloads definitely are on my other HDD but as for the other im not sure.

Honestly I don't really know how to clean it up properly.

Go to your Picture/Documents/Music/Etc folder and change their locations.
