crcdisk.sys error

Im using an Dell Latitude D520 (Yes, I am aware of how old it is and how I need to upgrade). Whenever I tried to boot Windows Vista safe mode and it freezes at crcdisk.sys. It will not boot up in normal mode at all either. Right now I cant even get past of my motherboard loading screen. It has blue dots everywhere on screen. Is my laptop done or is there a fix?
