Arma 3 crash help

I get this Crash message : 0xC0000005. I recently got a EVGA GTX 970 and it has only been doing it since.

I find that arma doesn't like any kinds of overclocks on the gpu. Is the evga card an SC or SSC varriant?

i'm pretty sure, i have it set to automatically update

Well you might want to manually update the game. Sometimes games don't automatically apply updates as expected. It happens, just not as often.

yeah it just updated today, it ONLY crashes in multiplayer, it DOESNT crash in singleplayer

Did you try to reinstall ARMA 3? If not I suggest you try and reinstall it.

okay, all i did was verified the integrity of game cash

yeah it just updated today, it ONLY crashes in multiplayer, it DOESNT crash in singleplayer

Disable any mods with the Corrupt symbol on them.

Update drivers, re install the game, and verify the launcher options are all default.

i re-installed the game, and updated my graphics drivers. by launcher options do you mean on the Arma 3 launcher or in steam

The ARMA 3 launcher, not the Steam launcher.

The games is trying to access a chunk of RAM that it does not have ownership of. I highly doubt that there is anything you can do about since its most likely a that a developer has a memory leak from a pointer that was never properly cleaned up.

yes the launcher options are default

it worked perfectly with my old graphics card so im sure it is a GPU problem not a RAM problem.

Do you have your old GPU? If so try to run ARMA 3 and see if it is in fact the GPU that's causing the problem.

Then try using your old GPU.

I did and it worked. should i put my settings on the lowest possible with the 970 and see if it makes a difference?

0x00000001 - UNABLE_TO_INIT_DXGI is what i have been getting now.
