I have made a post on this already but that didn't get me anywhere... I have what I would think is a high end pc but I'm having my doubts. I had huge stuttering going on with some games of mine like GTA 5, Minecraft, Just Cause 3, and etc... I was in the middle of trying to get over it but when I played minecraft and was stuttering with low fps I drew the line. I need help with this I know my pic should be running way better than this being that it has two gtx 980ti's and an i7-5930k not over clocked because that's another problem I can't figure out. If anyone can help It would be greatfully appreciated. Oh and another game I would like to mention is arma 2 and 3.

All those games you listed are CPU heavy. And it doesn't help that with so much GPU prowess, you're always CPU-limited. CPU determining the performance is always rough.

However, games like Minecraft and Arma 2/3 always will continue to stutter. Especially minecraft is prone to stutter with loading etc. It remains a shitty Java mod underneath.

Fallout 4 as well and I know just cause isn't SLI compatable I disable SLI when I play it.

Fallout 4 works perfectly fine with SLI for me, just have to force AFR2 in the control panel.

As for OP, try setting the power management mode to prefer maximum performance.

Ok then over clocking should help with that right? And also my cpu load never gets to be that high usually 30-60% whilst gaming

Total load is deceiving. Look at individual cores. But even if no core reaches 100%, you can still be CPU-limited.

And you can't overclock the 5930K far enough to get stable 60fps on ARMA 3.

EDIT;

can you use multiquote and edit please? you just made 3 consecutive posts.

Well your CPU has 12 threads when games only usually are able to utilise around 4 properly so you will never see 100% CPU usage from just a game.  Overclock to get the singlecore performance higher which is most likely the thing limiting your performance.  You would probably have got better performance in games from a regular i5 or i7 simply because you can overclock them further usually.

I guess you mean fps :P I'm locked in at 60fps throughout the whole game with no dips with 2x GTX 780s. Only get around 70% GPU usage max from both.

And that's on 780's so shouldn't I a little better performance than 60 fps at ultra in 1440p

1440p with advanced setting sliders off and the others settings in advanced on such as long shadows

are drivers and such installed correctly

did you run a benchmark and compare results with other people with similar hardware?
