Hey guys..I need some help.I have Toshiba satellite c55-a-1nu with 4 gigs of ram,gtx 710m and intel i54200m 2.50 GHz.

So my graphics card has 1 gigs of Vram and 4 gigs of ram,but could i get another 8 gigs of ram(it's compatible,i can up to 16)so i would have 12,and add 2 of those gigs to my graphics card in bios? I think i was told that integrated graphics card uses pc's ram anyways? and i wonder if i could run gta v at least on min settings :)

Sorry if you can't understand what i am saying,since i can't either :)

You can't share RAM with VRAM, that 1GB of VRAM is permanent and can't be upgraded.

Upgrading your RAM will have minimal difference on the performance of the game. It's not worth upgrading.

I'm just taking a stab at this, but you seem extremely new to the PC industry. I'd stick around and do some research on how computers work in general and perhaps consider building your own gaming rig aside from that laptop if you have the budget to do so, it's a good skill to know the ins and outs of computers.

well that cost money my friend

do you have any laptop to recommend, not to go much over 1000 $

Personally i think gaming laptops are overrated, getting a pc under $1000 can give a very good gaming experience, then buy a cheap laptop to use on the go, who games outside anyway

If you like to game on the go try to build a itx system. I have one now, but having added speakers, a audio interface, and another monitor to my setup its hardly portable.

You can't share RAM with VRAM, that 1GB of VRAM is permanent and can't be upgraded.

Technically the system will automatically consume the RAM if the VRAM goes above it's limit. For eg you have 16GB of RAM, and 2GB of VRAM, the game consumes more than 2GB VRAM and it's gonna consume the system RAM, However the game will become super slow and go stuttering.

Intel Core i3 2100 @ 3.10GHz - Intel Stock Cooler - Zotac Geforce GT 610 2GB Synergy Edition

Intel DH61WW - Corsair® Value Select 4GBx1 DDR3 1600 MHz - Antec BP-300P PSU

WD Green 1TB - Seagate 2.5" HDD 1TB - Seagate Barracuda 500GB - Antec X1 E.

so getting some more ram and playing gta v at min is possible? since it requiers 1 gb of vram and 4 gigs of ram ? :)

If you want a pleasant gaming experience, You should atleast have a 750Ti and 8 Gigs of RAM.

Your laptop unfortunately won't do good. Not even at minimum settings. 710m performs lower than a HD4400 onboard GPU. So no no no..
